Heys guys i just found a white 1986 notch 4 banger for sale i talked to the guy he said 400obo it runs fine no rust. Arent 4 eyed notches really rare?? I was gonna buy it and but a 5.O motor in it race it all out and bring it to car shows. Should i buy it or no give Opinions
they aren't that rare but they are getting fewer. If it is in as good shape you say i'd go for it. a rust free notch is worth the 400 bux. i picked up a 86 notch with t-tops for 400 bux not too long ago but it needs some work. I didn't care too much because i planned on stripping it down and start over from the bottom up
I paid $500 for an 85 2.3 manual. Had to patch the gas tank, change the power steering hoses and now there is a hole in the oil pan. Overall it is worth it since it only has 86,000 miles and the 2.3's are stout.
How is the underside? Torque Boxes? If it really is rust free. I would buy it. I am biased to notches though.
