I bought a 1987 mustang lx with a 5.0 v8 swap in and the next day the throttle cable snapped, so i bought a used throttle cable off Ebay and i need some help putting it in.. has anyone done this recently or at all?
Pretty much what he said. Easiest way I found to get the cable off the petal was to just pull the petal towards you and use a pair of plies to pull it off of it. Then undo the bolt on the firewall inside the engine bay and pull it out. Then pop it off the bottom of the throttle body and unbolt it from the bracket on the egr spacer. Then do the same thing backwards to install it, it really is pretty straightforward
