I am selling my 1988 Mustang Coupe. I have owned this car for 5 years and have put many new parts on it, which I will list. I have kept up on the oil changes and this past winter when I replaced the clutch I changed the trans fluid. This engine in this car is stock and runs very strong. The transmission is very solid and shifts well (no popping out of second or grinding in third). The frame on this car is solid and overall this car has been my daily driver in the summer since I have owned it. It is a very fun car to drive and the loud exhaust makes it an attention getter!
I'm pretty firm on the price and for the money I don't think anyone will be disappointed! I'm open to offers though, doesn't hurt to ask.
I have a folder of reciepts since I've owned this car.
Maintenance and After market parts:
Brand new LUK clutch (friction disk,pressure plate, pilot bearing last winter)
Michaels Racing Engines re-surfaced the flywheel for me while I had it apart
Gas tank and fuel pump
3.73 Gears
Brake shoes, front pads are a few months old
Rotors and Drums
Front wheel bearings and seals
Rear wheel bearings and seals
Tires --P225/60R15 Goodyear Eagle GT HR
Subframe connectors
Reinforced torque boxes welded and plated
Tubular Upper and lower rear control arms (Mac Suspension)
H-pipe/No cats
Equal length headers
Flowmaster Mufflers/full welded exhaust
Energy Suspension Transmission mount and cross-member bushings
Pyle CD player head unit
Short throw shifter
Smog pump removed
AC removed
Plug wires and Plugs replaced
Rear fender lips rolled (guy before must have had ambition of running big slicks)
Fiberglass hood with raised cowl
New windshield
Eibach springs all 4 corners
Ford Motorsports Clutch Cable
Ford Underdrive Pulleys
New heater core
140 mph speedometer
The owner prior to me had hood pins holding the hood shut but I added a hood latch so the hood actually locks.
