Ok, I've heard all the horror stories of doing this job yourself but nonetheless, myself and a buddy are going to tackle this thing. I think with some patience and beer, we'll get it done. When I got the car, the top was already in disrepair and the frame broke so I have nothing to reference. I did notice how the old top (what was left of it) came off the tack strips but the pads were completely destroyed and I'm having a tough time trying to figure out how they go on. If anyone could post some pics of the inside of your fox body vert so I could see the layout of the pads (unless you have a liner) I would appreciate it or if you just know how they're laid out let me know. Also any other tips in general would be appreciated. I would love to pay someone 500 or 600 bucks to do this but the truth is I just don't have it and I need to get the car on the road. Any input is appreciated......Thanks stang brethren.

If nobody has replied with some pics, I'll try and take some tonight. I haven't had my top up in months so this will be a good opportunity to make sure all that is working properly lol. I have a 91 vert, so I assume everything should be the same.

Thanks Generik. I think some of the specs are a little different but yea, they're the same. I appreciate that. I hear you philly I've searched high and low. Nobody here in Tulsa will touch for less than 5 bills. I must be a tightwad cause I think that's way too high for doing a job that's part done and I supply the top. I would gladly pay 300 but I get the cold shoulder.
