Ok, I've heard all the horror stories of doing this job yourself but nonetheless, myself and a buddy are going to tackle this thing. I think with some patience and beer, we'll get it done. When I got the car, the top was already in disrepair and the frame broke so I have nothing to reference. I did notice how the old top (what was left of it) came off the tack strips but the pads were completely destroyed and I'm having a tough time trying to figure out how they go on. If anyone could post some pics of the inside of your fox body vert so I could see the layout of the pads (unless you have a liner) I would appreciate it or if you just know how they're laid out let me know. Also any other tips in general would be appreciated. I would love to pay someone 500 or 600 bucks to do this but the truth is I just don't have it and I need to get the car on the road.
