I have a set of 4 lug 17" x 9" chrome Cobra's for my 1990 Fox Body, 5.0 and am wondering what is the maximum reverse offset, from the machined part of the wheel where it contacts the hub, to the wheel (rim) lip for clearance purposes? The measurements of these are right at 6" with a straight edge on the outer lip of the wheel rim. I've asked a local tire store (Big O) and they had no constructive information even though they sell rims. I do not want to mount tires and then find out they don't clear or contact the struts. If anyone has this information, I'd apreciate your help. Thanks.
