Engine 1990 Opinions on camshaft

I have a 351w with AFR 185 pedestal mount heads (just what I prefer to run for simplicity) with a TFS R intake....opinions on this cam with setup. Anybody ever run this cam. I dont want a custom cam, thanks

That cam has substantial duration. So to get the most of it you'de need to rev it pretty high. Is your bottom end up to the task? I'd want at least a quality rebuilt bottom end with full balancing. If you have a higher mileage stock bottom end, I'd say that cam is flirting with disaster.

Bottom end is stock crank, main studs, stock rods with ARP rod bolts, and icon forged pistons. I dont wanna rev past 6500

So you have TFS R intake? I suppose that means fuel injected right? Do you have a tune on the ECU? If not it might limit your top end rpm to something below 6500. Mine stock set rev limit is at 6200.

Yes and stock ecu...factory rev limiter is 6250. I'm already thinking about a different Camshaft and once car is complete then it will be tuned
