Hello,
I've been trying to find a cover for the top of the instrument cluster pod. Not a full dash cover, I only need to cover the top of the instrument cluster pod. I get a glare off it when the sun is just right. When I search for it, I either get full dash covers or instrument cluster bezels, neither are it.

Anyone know if this is made? Or maybe have a clever idea on what to do about the glare?
Thanks.

Thinking about using some fine scotchbright pads to take the shine off.

You might try wet sanding with very fine paper then applying a light grey tint film over the top.

Just thinking out loud but maybe an anti-glare film used for a laptop or TV that’s big enough to cut to size and install over the gauge cover?
Something along these lines off Amazon:

Probably better for this purpose than my grey film suggestion.

The plastic cover or the lense? Cover just get a cheap roll of some Matte black automotive wrap. I used some Matte carbon fiber stuff on my 79 dash just to make it look uniform on a budget since it was in such sad shape. Dull enough to not have a glare issue.

I think the OP is referring to glare that comes off the top of the instrument cluster bezel.
