So I am working on getting my 94 Gt up and running and ran into a possible upgrade but wasn't sure if it is doable. I found a set of good looking TRW pistons and rods out of a 91 Gt. Is there any reason that I would not be able to use these in my 94 block with my stock crank? I have been having to rebuild this car on a shoestring budget (got 3 teenagers at home) so basically everything has come from junkyards. I rebuilt a set a GT40Ps for it, swapping to carb (there was no engine and the harness was hacked to death), and I am attempting my first rebuild on the engine. Everything I find says that the 88 and up crank and rods are the same so I was thinking this might work. any info is appreciated.
