1994 mustang GT Tranny

I just changed the tranny fluid on my t-5 tranny and i used valvoline dex/merc. And it was winning pretty bad so i put some lucas tran fix and it still winnes real bad so does any body have a idea what could help.

If it's a very audible whine, a rebuild most likely is the solution.

If it whines loudly in 1st and gets quieter in 2nd and 3rd and completely silent in 4th then the 15 roller pocket bearings probably ran dry from low fluid at an earlier time and scored the mainshaft.

Very expensive part...$400.

If that lucas oil additive is VERY thick, dont use it...drain and refill ASAP if the lucas stuff feels like 90wt or heavier
