i would imagine it had to have cats, its a federal offense not to, and i think there is some kind of law that every factory must put them on their cars.
It had darn near the exact exhaust as a standard GT/Cobra(four cats and crappy shorty headers). Thats why the 351 was only putting out 300hp. Those cars were not very fast, but handled great.
