Since my car is finally running again, and running really well I might add...

I took it by a couple of paint shops for estimates on Friday. My first choice of shops seems to be willing to cut a deal of sorts with me. If I take all the trim, weatherstrip, rockers, interior, etc off the car (basically so he has to tape as little as possible), instead of his typical $2,500 (labor only) paint job, he will give me what he deemed to be a $4,500 paint job. Cool, I get a glassy show car paint job for half price!

I figured I would price out new stuff just in case I break anything or find it is bad when I am removing it. Late Model Restoration and Mustangs Unlimited seem to have a lot of this stuff.

My question is where can I find all the weather strip for this car? All the convertible top weather strip kits I can find are for 2001-2004. Wouldn't these really be the same? Specifically, I think I need the A pillar trim/weatherstrip. I also need the interior strip that runs along the dash between the door and dash.

I am just going to remove the convertible top well molding and repaint myself. Those are expensive!

What are the door to window seals called (the rubber at the bottom of the window) and where would I find them?

Other than trunklid weatherstrip and rubber grommets for the spoiler, I can't think of any other trim to take off.

Rocker panel clips?

I have new headlights, so no problems there. I think I need new install kits though.

Rearview mirrors. I don't think mine are bad per se, just that the driver mirror wiggles around so much I can't see out of it. Are the rubber seals on these as well?

Is there anything I've missed or need to be aware of when I start this adventure (it won't be until the beginning of next year)?
