My mother owns a 1995 mustang. It has a v6 but i dont know anything else about the engine. Every once and a while while she is driving it with seem to want to dog and die out ? the usually happens while excelerating through 40 - 55. Does anyone know what is wrong ? I'd rather see if someone on here knows then have her take it to a Ford Dealership and get ripped off for a $0.48 cent part ? Thanks!

,.

She said nope. I've been in it and it seems like almost the fuel is kind of restricted ? I was thinking her injectors or something needs cleaned but I don't know anything about newer cars/engines. Any ideas will be appreciated

Is it bogging or is the converter locking up as soon as it shifts into OD?

I'm thinking maybe a supercharger and a dynotune would help.......but seriously

do the basic tune up stuff....air/fuel filter - oil change - new plugs - double check all the electrical connections under hood, particularly the MAF and IAT sensors. Is it doing this at a certain RPM range or a certain speed? Mine had some problems and all I did was change the plugs and it helped it a lot, but that was when I was running extremely rich.
