Thinking about buying a 96 gt i have always had pushrod motors so this would be my first mod motor . would like to do mods but not the PI swap unless i have too any suggestions superchargers , nitrous ,gears thanks for the feedback

Thats a little old but impresssive as is anyhow. But FWIW the PI swap is prob the best mod you can do besides FI on an NPI car.

For the beginner, the PI mod would be the best bang for the buck. From there, I would add gears and a good set of tires.

Once you get to that step, your best hp gain for the money would be FI.
