Ok I was searching on autotrader, and found a 1997 cobra, it has i think 130k on the odometer, and 7500 for the car. Do you all think I could get 5 out of my car? 118 on the clock, loaded, but the exterior needs paint.
Out here clean GTs with nice paint and some more little things go for around $5500 so I could see that
$7500 is about inline for a Cobra too. Check to see if it makes a knock on cold start. Its just common enough to check for, not nearly as common as 03/04 developing it but still listen for it cause thats all new hydraulic lash adjusters that will be needed. At $9 each it adds up plus the labor, or $150 for the tool to do it yourself.
And yes guys I know that is not what makes the 03/04s do it, more of a Mark and Aero Cobra problem.
Well the high mileage doesnt bother me, im gonna put miles on it, since it will be my DD for a while. Because im in a rock and a hard place for, buying a cobra, or painting my car and go fobra.
