I am trying to install a new airbag on the passenger side of our 1997 mustang cobra, but when I slide the bag in the tabs for the bolts hit the brace in the back and the bagg still sticks out about an inch or so. Could the brace have moved forward that much when it activated ? It was a low speed crash that activated the air bags. Any help would be greatly appeciated.
