A few pretty upgrades as well. I love the metal tanks and how they look too bad they are ridiculously priced.

My speedo doesn't work so we think it at the teeth off of the gear as I'm 99% sure everything is hooked up correctly.

I also need to adjust my shifter or something as it doesn't have a positive feeling getting it into first gear.

Overall things are working good.

Yesterday was stupid stressful. Our first start it had zero oil pressure. So after reverse filling the system throug the oil pressure sensor hole we were able to reestablisb oil pressure.

In the home stretch. Let's bring it all together with a trip to the tuner and some dyno numbers. Great work man, looks real good.

I'll be calling Monks this morning to get a dyno appt.

I've got to get an alignment and we broke the vss in half when installing (oops). I was able to get a new one locally but I had to order the speedo gear from LMR, it won't be here until Wed.

I also need a new battery, I've been limping this one along for far too long and it's beyond the point of being reliable.

All those things are very minor considering 3 days ago this thing was a roller in a million pieces. I was able to take it around the block a few times. The converter lock up and OD function work perfectly (manually controlled by me). Funny thing is out of habbit the first time I moved the car I stuck it in D (third) already forgetting it's now a full manual valve body. doh.

I'm excited to get this thing tuned and to the track. I"m going to guess the nitto's are not up to the task traction wise. Time will tell. The car has quite a bit of suspension work but still needs a good set of upper control arms and the shocks and struts need adjusted.

New battery is in place but somehow we have broke the speedo and can't seem to get it functioning again. I've been trying to use a parts store replacement vss and can't get a signal out of them when bench testing. So I'll go pay an arm and a leg for a new ford one and see if that helps.

Got the speedo fixed. The speedcal wigged out. I set it back to 0 0 0 and tested then reset to my setting and it all works.

Badish news is that the trans is not wanting to cooperate when warm. Trans builder things a valve is sticking so we are running a few test and seeing if it will cool and cooperate.

And when the trans is cool all gears Work perfect. Trans gets to operating temp of 150-160 and it starts to act like it slips and flares the shifts. Fluid is full.

Trans builder thinks a valve is sticking when warm.

Going to take it for another spin today and see how it acts.

Officially killed the trans. So out it will have to come this week if pulling the pan is all metalic inside like we expect.

Haven't updated in a while. We killed the converter so we are waiting on circle d to send it back.

We had to yank the passenger side header to pull it out as well.

Just a waiting game again.

We "should" be going sometime this week. I'm waiting on the transmission guy to rebuild the trans again. Unfortunately he is covered up. We got the converter back from Circle D last week so hopefully we can get to it quickly.

Also had to order a new speedcal so I have a working (correct) speedo. Sucks that FRPP won't warranty a product (at all) as it was $169.

I'm anxious to get this turd off of jack stands (and at least back in my own garage).

Got it all back together. Got an alignment done today. And then made it out to a local cruise in with my ladies.

Yep. I'll call monks first thing Monday and drag it up there just as soon as he can get me worked in. I'm so anxious to hit it hard and make some jam in this thing!

Fingers crossed for you. Anxious to see the results. One thing I know about dynos though, if you have a number in mind, be prepared for your actual results to be much lower. Set the bar low so you can't be disappointed. Anything above that number is just icing.

Well I've done all I can do at this point. New catch can installed due to the cam cover filters were leaking some oil (A bit more blow by on this engine due to ring gap, or I f'd something up lol), trans leak (at the lines) is fixed, wide band installed, all gauges working. Car moves around good. I've got a spare set of plugs in the trunk, a set of stock coil packs (has screaming deamon on it now, I think monks wants to dyno test both as he thinks the stock ones will make more power), spare belt and t bolt clamps as well. All items off the check list seem to be in working order and I've put around 100 miles of just put put time around town on the car since we got it all back together. Trans works (thank God) and I'm ready for my dyno appt tomorrow.

Have to wake my happy arse up at 230 in the morning and be out the door at 3 to make my 8am appt. It's a 4hr 15 min or so drive but I'm sure I'll have to take a leak somewhere along the trip and I want to be off the trailer and ready once 8 am rolls around.

I'll attempt to post a video and of course a pic of the final dyno sheet as we get there.

Going to be a busy next 48 hours or so! Race car problems.
