1998 Mercury Mountaineer engine

I came across a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0 complete engine at a local junkyard today for $450. It has 99,000 miles on it. The guy said I could have everything Mass air meter alternator headers starter ect.. Is this a good deal or the price they usually sell for?
I'm looking for an engine to go in a 89 4cyl coupe I just bought.

Thats cheaper than the 4.3 I bought for a Blazer from a junkyard. I paid $750 for that motor.

I guess I'm gonna get it. I ran it by the wife and she said she didn't care if I got it.
