1998 Mustang trouble starting

The 1998 Mustang has a problem with its starting. it turns over for several minutes or takes several tries to start. I changed the spark plugs and lines, while it seemed to help for a while it has just gone back to how it was before.

Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked for codes? If you have not it should be the first thing you do.

Without knowing any history on the car I would say check fuel pressure. Also fuel pressure regulator too.
And I agree with checking codes.

it sat unused before we got it for several years. when I changed the spark plugs and lines they were original stock. so I've just assumed everything is Original in it. i think it has almost 146k miles on it but ill definitely check the codes and the fuel pressure
