i am working on a 1999 escort zx2 with the zetec vct 2.0 dohc motor with an auto trans...
according to autozone it doesnt matter if the car is sohc or dohc the trans will work the only difference is the starter (2 or 3 bolt starter) they have the same part number...
now my question is...what about the contour with the vct motor? if you ask me that would be the same trans as the escort..wouldnt it?
