I recently finished installing NX new plate kit for our motors and I was very impressed with the HP and TQ numbers on the dyno. You can see in the graph below my HP was up about 75 and my TQ about 140 :) .

The only problem I had was my A/F it never fell below 13.5 which is way too high. I just ordered 30lb injectors and a focus pump to help the fuel. Modular depot is also going to redo my tunes in my xcallibrator for me to add the new injectors and more fuel. All this should hopefully fix my A/F problem and I should be able to up my shot to atleast 125 with added fuel.

If anyone else has any other ideas let me know.

Nice numbers, especially for a mustang dyno.

Why don't you just add the next highest fuel jet and see where your a/f is then? That's the beauty of wet kits...you don't need a tune to modify the a/f ratio.

The plate kit looks like money on modular cars. Hopefully we can now spray over 150 shot safely through the intake...hopefully.

I am hoping that with the pump and injectors I will be able to get to 150 shot safely. I am planning on upping the shot atleast 125 on my next dyno but that will be after the retune.

Red35th - I am kinda new to nitrous so thanks for the tip about changing my fuel jet i will remember for next time.

don't you think 30lb injectors are a little high? I've sprayed 150 with no fuel upgrades with colder plugs and 101 octane with no problem. Stock timing too!

My long term plans are a built motor and a 250 shot. So I dont feel like buying things twice and if I run a little rich its no big deal better than lean. I got the parts from Randy at MD FORD 410-655-2000 ext 5618. The pump was 85 and injectors 235 so that was a good price, I searched alot of other places and he was the cheapest by about $30 total. He was also recommended to me by Brandon From Modular Depot he is setting up my tune.

I should have everything by this weekend so I have a little project and hopefully next week I will get it to the dyno again. I will keep you posted.

Goodluck, hope you get it worked out soon. Do you have an RPM window switch and the other safety gear on your car? You didn't mention it, I just wanted to make sure. Also remember that bottle pressure has a very strong effect on a/f ratio. If the pressure is above 1000psi you will likely be a little lean, if it's below 800psi you will be rich.

Hope I didn't repeat info that you already knew, just wanted to make sure.

I have all the safety goodies window switch 3100-6200 spray, FPSS, and an automatic heater. So when I sprayed on the dyno my pressure was in the green on the guage but I am not sure of the exact pressure.

I think once I get the injectors, pump and Mod depot emails my new tune I should be good.

Yup, MD will treat you right. Just this time if you are too lean or rich just swap fuel jets. If you are too rich put in a pill that is one step down. Too lean put in fuel pill step up.

Enjoy it, nitrous is fun...:)
