ok, here is the deal, i went to a new place called dyno-might performance today and had my car put on the dyno and i am very dissapointed with my results.

The tests was done on a mustang dyno.
tests were done with all of the things in my sig except for nitrous.

my first test run was without the diablo chip, the car was at 16* on my steeda timing adjuster, my fuel pressure at about 32psi with the vac line hooked up.
i only put down:
MAX HP: 237.0 @ 5250RPM
MAX TORQUE: 260.7 @ 4250RPM

this is how the first run broke down, sorry i dont have a camera to show the sheets:

RPM-------MAX HP--MAX TQ---A/F RATIO

3458.96---159.09---209.81---13.14
3694.60---166.97---215.08---13.27
3924.25---174.84---220.36---13.40
4156.89---182.72---225.63---13.53
4389.53---190.59---230.90---13.66
4622.17---198.47---236.18---13.79
4854.81---206.34---241.45---13.91
5087.45---214.22---246.72---14.04
5320.09---222.10---252.00---14.17
5552.73---229.97---257.27---14.30
5785.37---237.85---262.54---14.43

2nd run i undone my neg battery cable and i put my diablo chip in, then hooked it back up and set my timing adjuster to 12* and lost about 13 HP and like 25TQ

third run i took the chip back out, set the timing adjuster to 16* and the tech told me to also turn up the fuel pressure 2LBS and i put down:
231.6hp @ 5500rpm
254.8tq @ 4250rpm

he said that my car actually impressed him and i asked him why and then he showed me the dyno results from a few days ago in lots better conditions of a 01GT that only had a k&n, an offroad H-pipe, and flows and it only put down 171hp and 212tq. he also said that his dyno was consistantly 40-60hp less than the dynojet in richardson tx at kwik car.

am i in need of a tune or something? should i be happy with these results?

Looks pretty good to me. When you turned the fuel pressure down... did you reset your timing adjuster to 16*??

yes i did, and on the third run when i took out the chip i didn't turn the pressure down, i turned it up from 32 to about 34-35psi.

i just thought i would be putting down at least 250 hp, it kinda sucks that i got this much time and money in this car and all it puts down is 237hp!

This might be an off topic Q's but how much does exhaust leak hurt on the dyno?

what the hell was wrong with that gt 01 with 171 hp was it running on 7 cylinders their is either some thing wrong with that gt or the dyno really needs to be calibrated bad.

Hp?

The numbers do seem off. The dyno did show you your best tune though. Use it as a linear chart. How does your car perform? Numbers are just numbers. Mine only made 211 hp and 290 ft lb tq at Dallas mustang. I out run alot of big number cars though. Make the combination work together.

don't feel bad man. i had mine dyno'd bone stock on a mustang dyno & got 215 hp & 237 tq. mustang dyno's are known for dynoing lower because they use your cars weight as the starting point for the dyno's inertia, as where a dynojet has a set one. which in the dynojet having a set one, it will actually give you a inflated number the mustang dyno is more of a tuning tool, because its more acurate. if ya want numbers always go to a dynojet

the car seems to perform very well, seeing as i got a 13.65 @ 104.13mph in crappy conditions(hot, humid, and spinning through 1st, 2nd, and a little through third gear on crappy good year street tires and 3.55 gears)

I personally never got on a dyno but from what my friends tell me a gear can throw off the dyno alittle and give you less rwhp. I would think he would get more then 237rwhp with his site up.

Is it my that don't know a thing about A/F ratios or is your car running lean? Mine is @ 13.5:1 and the tech said that is very lean. Could someone enlighten me here on the A/F ratios? What is the optimum A/F for a supecharged car and for a N/A car?
