hey fellers i bought my wife an 89 hatchback sweet lil car got a few questions...... is there such a thing as an aftermarket steering wheel for these? like most i hate the way the aod shifts any way to reprogram/change the length of time between shifts? it has a shift kit so the shifts are nice and firm but too soon. ive read the thread on surging idle but ours only does it once in a while and its not searching its staying at a high idle but it only does it in gear, put in park/netral and it goes to normal. anyone have an electrical schematic or diagram for the a/c system, ac works intermittently. been checking out the site and like it. seems like there are some good guys on here.

Yes. Grant and Momo both make steering wheels and adapters for Mustangs, as well as other manufacturers.

For the transmission, check out Lentech valve bodies. That will be the next mod for my wife's 93. For lots of good info on AOD's, check out Click Click Racing's forums.

Welcome to the Fox world.

If you have cruise, you can get brackets that will mount the stock buttons so it all works.
