I hate to ask what is going to happen to this SVO. I smell another damn 5.0 SVO swap. grrrr.

Merkur! why not just park the car for a year and rebuild it. when the motor is out and at the shop it gives you time to clean the engine bay and do other things you wouldnt do if the car was a daily driver. If you do a search on the internet a couple engine shops sell the 2.3's for a couple thousand I think. More than a rebuild but all you have to do is plop it in.
