hey harleyf25 i am interested, thats the year i'm looking for. when the motor was pulled what kind of shape was it in? i will be rebuilding any way for the mustang that i run in the SCCA.

Forgot to add, the motor only had 114K on it when I pulled it. I want rid of the thing too so I'd probably let it go cheap. Let me know something man, I'm trying to get a down payment on a notch.

Just looking for a naturaly aspirated motor? Why not swap a turbo if you're going to swap a block?

just in case you didnt catch this...

oh and also, the south yard in atlanta has an 88 tbird with the shortblock in it. I know this because just last weekend I pulled the intake and head off of it. transmission is already gone from the car as well so all you gotta do is loosen the two bolts from the motor mounts and the shortblock is yours for like $104.

engine looked to have been rebuilt recently before they left the car apparently in a field with rats lol.

Mileage on the 2.3 litre is unknown but ran well. I can include the PCM if you need it. The car has been completely stripped to the bone for project GTR. attached is a photo. I have a crane and it is ready to be picked up. Just bring your truck or trailer and I'll load it in.
