I couldn't find a diagram anywhere. Does the two speed have a resistor assembly? You will need a resistor to incorporate at least a low speed. If you change your switch to a three speed switch and add the resistor assy, you could run all speeds. Here is a simplified diagram of how the three speed is wired.
