what are all the tranny's that fit the 2.3? thanks!

T5 (Best that you can have)
al4d (auto P.O.S.T.)
C3 ( Found in Merkur, Cougar, and Turbocoupe) I'm Wee Todd It!!!
T9 (Found in Merkur)

Mmm, I don't think so. C3 is older Stangs and maybe older Turbocoupes, the SC was later on.

You missed a couple.

You could also get a C4 behind a 2.3L (a little more rare) and the SROD 4-speed overdrive.

t5 WC is the best. just takes little more work to put in. i would not rec. this for a stock n/a and even turbo might not handle the higher ratios. but they are built much better.

The T5s in Turbo Coupes are WC transmissions.

Hey guys,
How long is the T5 WC? From Bellhousing to the end of the tailshaft? I need to know this for a project and have no way to measure one! Can someone please help? The bellhousing would be from an 87 T-coupe. Thanks!

A T-5 WC from a TC should fit in a fox body and bolt up to the 2.3 without a problem.
