Are the 5 speed pedal assemblies from the 2.3 cars interchangeable with the ones from the 5.0 cars?? I'm gathering parts for my eventual A4LD to T-5 swap and have come across a lot of pedals from 5.0s, but not many from a 4 cyl. Does it matter? I've heard yes and I've heard no; which is it? Anyone put a 5.0 assembly in their 2.3 mustang?

Thanks,
WES

They're the same.....I even used one from an sn95 v-6 which I'd actually recommend doing because its much easier to get it back in there.

It took me about 5 seconds to fit the SN95 pedal assembly up and bolt it in.

So any pedal assembly will fit, even from an SN95? Any problems using these pedals? I know that I read somewhere on some website that there were problems with the clutch depressing enough if a 4cyl assembly wasn't used. I guess I have to just bolt it in when the time comes and see what happens.
More responses from those that have swapped would be great.

Thanks for the replies,
WES

So far I've had no problems. The only downside is that the fox body pedal assembly helps to hold the steering wheel in place and the SN95 doesn't.

Will a Fox pedal assembly fit in an SN95? I have a buddy with a '98 V6 who's thinking of T5 swapping and he's drooling over my low-cost swap....we have lots of Foxes in our local junkyard, so I'm wondering about that.

The SN95 set had little spacers to keep it set off the firewall about a hlaf inch. I don't think a Fox pedal assembly would work without the spacers.
