I tried doing a search to answer my question, but came back mostly with ranger roller cam threads. I just got done pulling the NA motor that I cracked the head on. Now the Cam in that engine is in pretty good condition compared to the one from his turbo counter part. Now here is my questions?

A. Were there different cams made for the NA and turbo aplication?

B. If they are different would it work in the turbo engine. ( I need the car running more then performance at this time)

I just got the old engine out last night doing some cleaning up of the engine bay getting all the crude of 15 years from under the hood. I am anxious to get this new engine in the car so any input would be great.
thanks

They are different cams, you probably won't notice a difference though. Just make sure you keep the followers in order when you swap the cam and followers to the turbo engine.

I'm sorry if I missed this part and if I did please ignore this post Is this N/A motor a twin plug head?

If so, it's a roller and not to differenet from the Ranger roller cam if that motor came out of a mustang to begin with. I think you really have to do some major testing to find the difference between a roller in a mustang and a Ranger. Now if that N/A motor was a single plug (stock cam also) than it's not a roller. I think the HP gain is like 5 hp by swaping in a roller also, which like Stinger mentioned you probaly want notice it. Also I think it's suppose to be a smoother ride. I did this swap my self but I can't tell since this wasn't the only thing I did at that time.

It is a single plug head from a 90 NA LX. I will probably end up going with the better of the two cams for now then swap to the right one later.

First off do what you got to do but if it was me I would shoot for a roller cam. I can't stand going back and redoing something like this I know a few people on TurboFord.org that wouldn't supprise me if they had one ready to ship now.

Good Luck either way you go
