had my car dyno'd today. 2.93 bf pulley, jlt rai, magnaflow catback. results were very conservative. 17 degree's timing, 10.7-11.2 a/f ratio.

car was heatsoaked as well. enough with the excuses, results were440/465. pretty happy with the results, car runs hard

i have a few dyno pulls from inside the car i can upload if anyone is interested.

Only 17 degrees of timing??? Damn you're leaving some power on the table.... Good numbers considering the timing and fat A/F ratio though. Didn't you get a tune from James?

Good numbers. Doesn't the Mustang Dyno have a rep for being a little conservative compared to Dynojet. If so maybe this would have shown 450's and 470's on Dynojet

it wasnt a tune from james. it was some in-car adjustments on the dyno from a local shop.

im happy with the results. it may not be quite as rich as im estimating. the wideband was taking readings from the end of the tailpipe, he said the cats on the car clean it up alot. so its actually richer then the graph shows by about 1 full point?

does that sound about right?

wow bro, that is a bit rich, and the timing could be bumped up quite a bit. Can you post up the graph? Nice #'s though for only a 2.93!

yeah, my a/f ratio was based off the 1 point difference in the tailpipe reading. it is actually semi-lean im thinking now.

here is the graph though:

sorry no scanner. my a/f ranges from 12, 11.7, 12.2 though. im going to have a wideband reading done from the o2 bung somewhere and go from that.

Throw on a nice mid-pipe and you will see some more ponies. You will be happy with the 2.93. Perfect pulley for a street car IMO.

i got my tune from rwtd last night, took them about 6 hours to get one made up for me it is more aggressive then i had planned on, but he said its right where it should be. (20-21 degee's timing, 11.8ish a/f across the board predicted).

so i put it in the car today. just from driving normally around with 2k rpm shifts, it feels better. rpm's dont jump up when you put the clutch in between shifts, it feels smoother, runs cooler, ect. alot of nice little differences in driveability. i also love having my windows down and listening to the new whistle from the gatorback belt

before i jump on it, i need to get some wideband readings. most likely cant get any until thursday, then ill see if any adjustments need to be made. so far though, im happy with the service/tunes.

glad i finally joined up.
