Engine 2 Filters?

Hey so pretty new to the notch back that i bought 88 vortec supercharged so curious i saw a penzoil filter when i popped the hood below the valve covers and theres another filter like that penzoil oil filter but its orange under near the car near the tranny above.it so what filter do i need to change for my oil change??

The one screwed on the engine block?
Lol- it may have an added,dual filter system on it,could be an external filter for another of the systems. Honestly I’m not really sure. Pictures would help though

Yeah im confuses myself.what other filters do the foxbodys have that are the same size as oil filters? Or it could be a dual filter like you said

I only know of one oil filter like filter. I’m almost sure you will have an ‘add On’ system

That depends on what it filters
Get a number off of it and that will tell you what it is
