hi im looking into buying a '99 cobra and i was wondering (1) what are your guys' actual mpg? and (2) if you are under 25 and live in California what are you paying for insurance? Any responses would be appreciated

2) Call your insurance agent and get a quote on what YOU will pay on THE ACTUAL CAR in question

I am getting roughly 20mpg in mixed (75% city / 25% hwy) with my '01 (similar engine to '99s).

YMMV.

Ditto. I recently went to a track and had 7 passes, filled up and from the trip over and back i got 20 as well. A terminator that I was with wasn't too happy
