Hi guys,
Two quick questions I need help with. First, the drivers door inside panel, down at the bottom near the speaker is getting scratched up. I know I know... my own clumsiness. But I can't get out of the car very easily when some yahoo parks too close. Anyway, is there anything that'll take care of that? I've tried Armor All to no avail. What about an aftermarket product?, like some carpet or something?

Second question: I'm considering an XM radio to go along with my Shaker 1000. But where to mount the XM commander? I have an 05 GT with the interior upgrade package. I already know where to put the antenna... on the rear decklid between the speakers.

Any thoughts?

For the scratches on the door panel, you may want to give the Maguires Interior Detail spray a try. I use it and it seems to do the trick for me.

Living in the southeast; I had poor XM reception with the antenna mounted anywhere but on the roof. I had the XM commander prior to my Skyfi 2, both are good radios with the same antenna. Here is a pic of mine as well as where / how I mounted my Passport radar detector remote.

I chose to mount my XM Roady2 high as I really didn't want my dash to be more cluttered. I used the standard mounting bracket and mounted it in front of the convenience light console between the two active alarm sensors. I ran the power and antenna leads under the headliner and down the A pillar.
