2 questions!

do any of u guys have the SVO axle girdles on your 8.8? i am trying to find one for a reasonable cost but they range from $180-200. I am also entertaining the idea of using 4.30 gears in my cobra. from the way things are going, i am probably unable to supercharge my cobra (cuz of the wife). i figure the next best thing would be some 4.30 gears. this car is normally driven 3 days out of the week at a time with 37k miles on it. any of u guys use 4.30 gears on the streets?

If you don't ever plan on supercharging then you probably won't regret 4:30 gears. And since you don't drive your car everyday, I don't think it will be a problem to have them in there. Let's assume you drive your car 30 miles a day, three days a week, that's really only like an extra gallon or two of gas being burned each week b/c you have 4:30's instead of 3:27s. I have 4:10's and they're great, but I plan on supercharging in the future that's why I didn't go higher. I also have the alum. SVO girdle, I just got it for looks mostly and the fact that it'll hold a little more oil.

i have owned 3.73's in my old 5.0 so what would 4.30's feel like? i have a feeling the car would feel like it is sorta supercharged as it launches easier but im just trying to get a good idea
