2000 GT Convertible Top Replacement

The rear window leaks on my 2000 GT convertible. Various science experiments aimed at a remedy lead me to the conclusion that a new top and rear window are needed. I have viewed a couple of YT videos for DIY installations and do not feel it an impossible task.

I am looking for tips, advice, experiences and supplier recommendations from those who have successfully tackled this. Thank you in advance. s

I have been slowly bringing my Bullitt back to life (thread here). I recently reacquired another Mustang I owned previously, my first Mustang a 2001 GT convertible 5-speed. Some of the mods that I did on that car will be making their way onto the Bullitt and then I will be selling the car.

One of the big issues with the car was that someone broke into it several years ago by slashing the convertible top. The car sat in the former owner's garage for a long time and was only driven on nice days and only for brief trips when the top could be left down. Replacing...

I have not had to replace my Vert top yet. But I need to do the rear window in it. I did see a YouTube vid where a guy did just the window section because his top was fine, just, like yours, leaking on the edges. You can get just window sections online. I think with or without the defrost grid.
