2000 GT Cylinder Head Removal

I am wanting to upgrade to a totally forged shortblock assembly but i was curious the difficultly in removing and replacing the heads. Any comments welcome.

seeing as you dont have longtubes you might be able to pull your heads out with the manifolds attatched- then it wouldnt be that hard.

I had longtubes- I had to remove everything but the heads, loosen the head bolts, remove the headers, then take the heads off. Wasnt fun.

It shouldnt be that hard with your engine in your car, Ive done it once in a junkyard when i was pulling some PI's for a friend... I just remember that i used rubber bands to hold the head bolts up so you can remove the heads without fighting em... a few of the bolts hit the master cylender cuz they are so long.. other then that it should be pretty easy..
