Hi Pearl02!

Update, car still tapping, and its getting worse... now on cold starts in the morning (see attached mp3 clip), it taps...very lightly though......car not only taps when going up a hill, now during normal driving.

Also, there is a slight p/s pump whine? NOT the normal Ford whine, it sounds like a groaning noise. like when i accidentally ran my p/s pump with no fluid at all...... I just got a new p/s rack installed cause it was damaged and leaking.

Yea, identified the tapping as Pre-Ignition Pinging.... cause I was running 87 fuel, but I switched to 93, and it went away a little, but I still hear it slightly...

Still have the p/s pump grinding noise under load.
