A couple of days ago I tried to start my 2000 gt. It really seemed reluctant to start which is weird. But on the 3 try it fired up and drove normally to the store. When i came out to leave it started right up but it was running really rough. I have had it happen before where it ran rough and i had a fouled plug so I thought time to change the plugs. I drove about a quarter mile and it became obvious that it was not the same fouled plug because it had no power. The more gas i gave it the more it wanted to die. So I pulled over and it died.
I had it towed home and changed the plugs which 4 of 8 were pretty black and the rest looked a little lean to me. It still did not want to start. not even a little. Fuel pump is pumpin and no codes. should i change the coils? any other ideas? I tried a search but did not find my exact problem and ones that were similar turned out to be coils.
Thanks.

oneturboneeded...are there no codes or just no CEL? If there is no CEL then get a scan tool and check for codes anyway. Sometimes the ECU picks up the code but doesn't get to flash it right away. With the problems you're having I'd bet there is a code in there.

Are you merely hearing your fuel pump or is it actually getting fuel to the injectors? Check the schrader valve to see if it is (be careful, it might be pressurized).
