I'm looking for some advice mainly on deciding if I should mod this car or just get it running good and flip.
170000 miles v6 auto pretty badly neglected with an auto.
I don't care for automatics to much so i would want to swap to manaul but if selling it doesn't matter.
I test drove a mach 1 2003 manual and definitely liked the pull the v8 had. So I would want to v8 swap possibly as well, if not a full v8 swap a rear end swap to start.
I paid 200 and it starts shakes heavy at idle and the front calipers ate through the pads and into the rotor, ha through the rotor too. Oil leaks coolant looked clean straight body.
What would be the best budget/used/junkyard build?
Or should I flip it?
I have other daily drivers

Little update used caliper installed, new rotors, and pads up front and I have pedal pressure now.
Huge cut through the 3 layers on the 1 cylinder plug wire and a couple rotted vacuum hoses.
Plugs were worn or gapped to .9.
Waiting for plugs and wires.
I pulled codes p 1409 and p0171.
And picked up 4 base model rims and 2 gt rims with decent tires, for free!

Can you visually see if the harmonic balancer slipped?
Any timing marks on it? Or anyway to measure the ring gear against the counterweight or pulley?
Brand new plugs and wires still shakes at idle but is a little smoother than before

U would have to get a tune... Better yet a dyno tune.. $500-700. Depends on were or who U no... "Dont do it" the tune worth more then the v6.. I have seen fast v6 mustang with turbos. But it only worth. What u have in the k member& turbo.. A v8 swap cost bout 2k more then a gt.. So i would look for a $3000 2v gt.. Good starter, & u do want to be the guy that makes 2v fast..
