I wanted to help others that can't find this info through the search feature. I found bits and pieces of what I needed and put the info in this post.

OK, I own a 2003 GT and was planning on replacing my PVC valve today (which is located on the passenger side cover, just to the front of the TB assembly). So according to the auto stores computer searches I ended up buying this Motorcraft one for $7 which I was told was for the '03

Turns out it is the wrong one and I need this one for $34 WTF??

Looks like I'm headed back to the store....

Yep I needed the one that twisted in as well, but without the connector on it. Had to go to a dealer to buy it.

Yeah, that's why I'm like

Why heat a valve that sits in the engine bay... on top of the engine

Not enough heat in there already I guess

both the Ford parts lookups we have at work, SnapOn and Microcat both show both those as being possible for the newer stands. When i even go into Ford's Historcal Vehicle Build of Materials and put a VIN in it says "multiple service parts" and to compare to the vehicle. Which sucks because everything else the VIN shows the part with no issues.

wish it was (far cheaper) but I have verified by looking. Mine has the heated PCV valve. I have taken it out for inspection and the valve still functions, so I will be returning the other valve for a refund and not purchase a new one.
