I have a friend trying to get me to take over payments on his 2002 360R Stage III with 16,000 miles, what's it worth saying the car is in pretty good condition, garaged, maintained, and pretty babied?

29k isn't too bad.

01 Stage 3's were about that price half a year ago.

That is sweet ride. I have a Stage II myself and it turns the head of everyone on the street.

360 flywheel. But I wouldn't be suprsied to see it dyno in the 330's.

My buddy has a 01 Stage 3 with a prochamber and smaller pulley. Dyno'd at 394 rwhp and 412 trq....give or take one or two numbers. Not too shabby. But it is almost maxed out without tearing into the engine. If they came with a forged 4V, I'd own one instead of my Cobra.

Is it a 360R or a Stage III? They're different........

Also, what color is it? There were only a certain amount of 360R's made, check out the production numbers for 2002 here.

Either way it goes, Roush's are definitely sweet cars that will get you compliments and looks.....

The Stage 3 was until 2001. After that it went to the 360R. Now it is the 380R (actually has 379 hp).

Of all of them, I'd rather have the Stage 3. I don't like the side stripes on the R's, and most R's have the regular rear exhaust. Stage 3's had the whole body kit, awesome rims, nice suspension, and incredible brakes.

$29K is a good price for the miles and the car.

I'd recommend picking it up. Definately a unique car too.

So you're saying that after 2001, after the Stage II's it skipped the Stage III's and went straight to the 360R's?

Stage 3's are still available for 2003. 380R's are seperate.....

To be honest, I don't know exactly how it goes. How I understand it, I posted above. I'm not positive, but I think it went...01 Stage 3, 02 360R, 03 380R. But I have definitely have seen people advertise it like "Stage 3 380R".

To the best of my knowledge, the 360R replaced the Stage 3. Then the 380R replaced the 360R.

Think of it as trims that ROUSH offered and not direct replacements for the Stage 3.

Options not replacements. The 380 R did replace the 360 though.

I saw a special on speed channel on the roush and the 360R is supposed to be rwhp. The sticker on that car is about 45k.
You should be able to get 30-35k.
A new 380R is 48k.

Roush's are know for getting good dyno numbers. But I don't think 360 rwhp stock.

48K for a 380R is crazy.
