I have a question about the 4.6L motor. I want to do a pihead, cam, and intake swap on my 1997 Mustang GT. A friend of mine has a 2002 Lincoln Towncar 4.6L motor. The compression on it is 10:1 like the pi motor. However, the horsepower rating is 240 while the 2002 GT is 260. What is the difference? Does the lincoln motor have a slightly milder cam, is there a difference the programming, or is it something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I iddnt realize a stock 2V had compression that high. I was alway under the assumption it was lower thus making us more boost friendly
