2002 GT wing relocation???

is there a tech article out there to show how to perform this mod?? if so please paste a link so i can do it... thank you stangnet<

i am talking about relocating the wing to te edge of the trunk lid...

I believe that's for 99-00. The 01-04 have the more retro wing.

If you pop your deck lid, and look @ the mounts for your wing you'll notice that there are the same (Even though the mounting points on your wing are closer together) the principle still works for the later modles.

i did it on my 2000 it wont work on 01 up

It won't work on the '01+ models. Under the trunk is all ribbing. You'll have to do a lot of cutting of the ribbing and such under

Man after looking at that, I might as well slap on a 281 wing.

Actually, you can move it back roughly 1 inch. Not enough for my tastes so I am looking into a custom aluminum bracket setup that'll move it back more like 2-3 inches. Kind of a cheap s281 mod.
