Alright so my GT has the 3650 and god knows when its gonna grenade but this tranny is complete garbage. The usual syncros are going bad and im damn sure couple shift forks are bent. If i keep usin this thing im gonna spend a small fortune in clutches and bearings.I wanna eventually do a swap but i dont know what other trannies are compatible with this motor other than the T45(hell no on the T45). Is there other ones that wont take massaging to get in? Maybe the T-56, T6060 or like the T500 or T600? I really would like a straight drop in, i know i would have to have a correct driveline made up but i would imagine thats the price to pay for a tranny not equiped in your car.
P.S. I installed a MGW short throw in it not long after i got the car. Its so suppose to eliminate 3rd shift misses, bull
cause when you do you can expect 3rd shift fork to be **** and you will never ever be able to nail 3rd fast and good any longer.
