Hey everyone, I need some help with some simple mods for my 2003 cobra. I am not exactly a car wiz but I do love fords and learned some small stuff while working on my 89 mustang. (Swapped headers, throttle body, intake, and exhaust). I was looking into some things for my 2003 cobra and am pretty sure on some stuff I want to get for it. As of now my 03 is STOCK!

Copy/paste into another Browser.

Here are the parts I am pretty sure I will get. I don't want to get to crazy because I am only 21 and still got some mean Car payments/insurance. I also don’t want to Completely BLOW my 5 year Warranty. So the mods are pretty simple and can be removed and put back to stock if ever need be.

#1. Intake
http://www.mustangtuning.com/jlt-03-04-cobra-rai.html

#2. Chip/Program
http://www.performanceproducts.com/...erchips+Max+Micro+Tuner&type=20&vehicle=29386
Look on the right side of the page under view items....That is what this chip is capable of.

#3. 2.81 Super Charger Pulley/ with new belt.
http://www.mustangtuning.com/st20copu2.html
Website shows that this pulley needs a Diablo Sport chip....Is my chip Compatible or do I have to get the Diablo Sport Chip?

#4. Bassani(off road or w/cats) not sure yet.
Don’t know which one is best for my car..... and which set up to get. As far as tips go, I don’t want anything over 4 inches.
How do these work with my o2 sensors? I read somewhere that 04 mustangs need to get something to bypass one of the sensors.

#5. The last mod until my warranty is over... Throttle Body
http://www.mustangtuning.com/20coacthbopo.html
or
http://www.mustangtuning.com/bbk-65mm-throttlebody-03-cobra.html
Which one is better for my engine/hp?

Any help would be appreciated. I don’t know everything there is about cars and actually would love to learn more. Please Give me any help and break it down for me as if I know absolutely nothing about cars

*update* I think I might go with a 3.10 pulley instead. It does not require a special Chip and might be better for my Personal use right now since this is my daily driver ATM untill i buy a beater.

ANY PULLEY SMALLER THAN STOCK WILL REQUIRE A RE-TUNE!!!!! It will also void your warranty.

1. This is a good CAI.
2. Stay away from any "chip" because it too will void your warranty. Go with the SCT Xcal2 or the Diablosport Predator handheld tuner.
3. Nothing wrong with this pulley and belt as long as you get the car tuned so you don't burn up the motor with a lean A/F ratio.
4. Well if you get an X-pipe with cats you'll need some O2 extenders, if you go without cats you'll either need MIL eliminators or better yet, have them turned off in the tune.
5. Don't waste your money on a throttle body, the gains are very minimal.
6. Stay away from a larger MAF. Makes it hard to tune and again, will not provide any real gains or benefit. Stock MAF is good all the way to 500RWHP!!

You need to do a lot more searches and reading on what other 03/04 Cobra owners are doing performance wise.

Here's a FAQ that will answer many of your questions: http://www.stangshiftergaskets.com/2003_2004faqs.htm

+1 about the throttle body. Not much gain unless you're over 500+ hp. For the money, get some good sticky tires and have fun. And definitely get a new tune like UM said.
