New here, hope I posted this properly. I have a 2003 Convertible GT and it needs an alternator based on smell, sound and what I have read about funny error messages (0340 Camshaft sensor error). My question is simply how many amps (alternator rating) is enough for the convertible? What is the OEM unit rated at in a convertible? I will keep googling but I have yet to find this info. Any help appreciated.
