2003 Gt Idle Issues

I recently had a problem with my 2003 gt idleing around 2500 rpms so i installed a new IAV valve now the idle is all over the pace sometimes hanging at 2500, sometimes it ideals right around 800 (where it should be) and sometime it stalls at while idleing... Any suggestions on how to fix this issue

Motorcraft IAC or aftermarket?

I had issues when I used an aftermarket- motorcraft worked for me.

Its a duralast... Little ass thing cost $83... It was constant at 2500rpms before replacement rpms are all over yhe place after install of new part sometimes it runs perfect sometimes at 2500rpms and other times it stalls

Throttle Position Sensor fixed a similar issue for me...cheaper than the IAC, easier swap, and you can beg to return it if it doesn't work out.

I'm working on a 1999 4.6L 2V and I can't get the screws out of the the throttle position sensor. It has phillip head screws and they are not budging. Is there a trick to getting them out?

Not that I remember...maybe soak them in some PB Blaster overnight or something.
