Hey guys i picked a 2003 mustang V6 a few days ago for 950$ canadian.
after a few drives ive come up that the has a few issues and ill be documenting them in this thread.
the end goal is to get the car track worthy and fast enough to keep up with my frs, my reasoning for this is that the frs is a similarly fast car(stockwise)but weights 400lbs less and has much better handling.

so ill be going thru a few steps that i most will agree with.
1-Make it safe
2.Make it stop
3. Make it turn
4.make it fast
5.Make it slide?

all of these will be done in a progression format so after each step/mod ill be going on the track to see how well the car handles.

Currently has a couple of issues.

Power steering leak,5th grinds(not necessary for my local track), Key lock doesnt work, surface rust,E-Brake doesnt work and Open diff XD.

This will be a slow build im not a millionaire.

I have a 1999 V6 that I'm rebuilding at the moment as well, so I'll be sure to keep an eye on your thread!

And don't worry; my rebuild has taken me QUITE an embarrassingly long period of time to finish.

So apparently during my inspection of the vehicle upon purchase i was blind and failed to notice a nice hole in the spare wheel area XD.
so looks like this may turn into a drift missile build. photos to come

So to keep track of the progress i make and to keep me in line I made a small road map.
Things are most likely gonna change but I want to complete Step 1/2 before the track season to atleast be able to do some testing.

Yes IK i write like a kindergartener

Today i picked up a set of rear KYB adjustable struts off a local guy for 40$. they seem to be in good condition minus one of the lower bushings being a little messed up. He was complaining that his struts werent working with his 2'' drop.
