It shouldn't be too hard to do, but as an owner of a SN197-GT let me tell you this...the grills are fugly if you are closer than 15 feet. The lights are the only cool part, the 67/68 grills are much nicer.
thanks Edbert. Looks like we have similar taste in cars..... I dig the 05 grill, though they are changing it to smaller fog lights and a new lower grill for 06. I would be happy with the outboard light Shelby grill on my 67, but can't find out what needs to change to get it to work.
I looked very seriously at doing the full 67 Shelby nose on my car. Total price for parts alone was over $2,500.00. The best looking Mustang nose ever, but it don't come cheap
That should be a piece of cake. There's loads of room behind the grille to put brackets to mount a pair of aftermarket spot lamps, then all you've got to do is cut the holes in the grille in the right place...
