Exhaust 2005 Gt Muffler On A V6 - Do I Need To Modify The Bumper Lip?

I have a 2005 V6 Mustang and want to put a passenger side GT muffler on it as many have suggested. Do I need to modify the lower lip of the bumper because the GT has a tailpipe cutout?
